Bayswater extension

Completed in 2014, this 2x1 was extended into a 4x2 in 8 months.

We purchased this house in August 2013, a modest 2 bedroom 1 bathroom/laundry and one living area. The location and position of the house drew us to this investment property. We were able to extend on the front of the block, adding another 2 bedrooms, including a master bedroom, 1 master bathroom and a new kitchen and living area.

 

The alfresco and indoor/outdoor living was important to us and we were able to achieve this with two large byfold doors, 6m and 3.6m long. We maintained features of the original house, high skirting boards, 32 course high internal walls, and dark timber floor boards throughout.  We then sold this house in April of 2014, showing both our efficiency to the build and the high level of workmanship drew an offer at our first home open.
