We purchased this vibrant 1940s home in June 2014. We were drawn to its beautiful high ceilings, ornate cornices and ceiling roses, its lead lights and panelling on the walls.
The owner was trying to remain true to the art deco era with the paint colours they had chosen throughout, however we favoured a more contemporary look.
After renovating the laundry and kitchen, and painting the house in neutral greys and whites, we sold this home 13 months later to embark on our current project, building a home in Bassendean with a Federation feel to it.
